Shershaah: The upcoming movie is a biographical action film that is directed by Vishnuvardhan and is being co-produced by Karan Johar. The movie is based on the life of Vikram Batra, a Param Vir Chakra awardee and an army captain. The movie has roped in Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, wherein he plays a double role of Vikram Batra and his identical twin brother, Vishal Batra. Kiara Advani has been booked for the female lead beside Malhotra. The film is slated to release on 3 July, 2020.
